    Rated a ‘5 Star Chapter’ in CSUF’s “Pursuit of Excellence” - 2006 and 2007

    Awarded CSUF’s Dean’s Cup - 2006

It has been said that a fraternity Chapter is only as strong as its Alumni. The Gamma Omicron Chapter of Phi Kappa Tau has over 700 initiated men who have been supporting the Chapter since its founding on the campus of Orange County State College in 1960. Below you will find links to pages depicting life in the Chapter during the 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, 1990s and the 2000s. These pages will also give you a feel for the Chapter's rich heritage and traditions. At the same time, you will see the evolution of California State University, Fullerton, as it has grown through the years. You will even find a special section on the legendary 1962 Elephant Races, in which Phi Tau alumni played a prominent role. There are original “GO Sheet” Chapter newsletters from the mid-1960’s which you can browse through. Or, if you´d like to get a feel for life at the Barn in the mid-1970’s, you can read back issues of the chapter newsletter, Barnstorm.

If you are prospective member, we hope you will find these sections useful in understanding the history and  culture of Phi Kappa Tau at CSUF.....the first Greek letter organization on the campus.  If you are an Alumni: Welcome home!  We are sure your visit to these pages will rekindle fond memories of your days as an undergrad. And please don't leave without leaving us a note on the Guest Book.
